Kathleen V. “Kay” (O’Brien) Connors

loving sister, aunt and friend;

Kathleen V. “Kay” (O’Brien) Connors, 94, of Lowell and Billerica, died Thursday October 4, 2018 at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell.

She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Connors.

Born in Billerica, Massachusetts, February 24, 1924, a daughter of the late James E. and the late Gertrude (LeLacheur) O’Brien, she attended Billerica schools and was a graduate of Howe High School with the Class of 1943.

Prior  to her retirement, Kay was an assembler with BASF Electronics for many years. In addition she worked as a waitress at the former Manning Manse in Billerica.

Among her many interests, Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Kay is survived by a sister Pauline Cushing of Chelmsford; a brother Daniel O’Brien of Billerica; a brother-in-law Robert Meyers of Hampstead, NH; 26 niecs and nephews; many grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was the sister of the late Rita Burgess, the late Faith Collinge, the late Dorothy Meyers and the late Edward O’Brien.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff of D’Youville Senior Care for the compassion and care extended to Kay.

Relatives and friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Saturday morning. Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 A.M. in the Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.     I just learned of your passing Auntie Kay. You will always be special to me and the memories I have of sleep overs and our talks together. Thank you for the love you shared after my Mom passed for that you will always be in my heart.

    I will always remember Aunt Kay with her smile and time to talk and listen. She was there in my early life as well as adult. I still remember with fond memories how Aunt Kay and Aunt Pauline were models at many of my fashion shows in the Merrimack Valley. We had so many laughs and fun. God Bless you Aunt Kay.     I only have fond memories of my lovely Aunt Kay. Always with a smile and time to talk to you. She was there during many stages of my early life as well as my adult life. I still remember Aunt Kay and Aunt Pauline being two of my models in many, many of my fashions shows around the Merrimack Valley. We had so many laughs and fun.
