Gail C. Norton

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend;

Gail C. (Trachim) (Bower) Norton 65, of Hudson, NH, but formerly of Lowell, MA died unexpectedly Saturday morning November 17, 2018 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

She was the wife of the late Peter J. Norton.

Born in Concord, Massachusetts, April 28, 1953, a daughter of the late Walter and the late Constance (Burk) Trachim, she attended Maynard schools and was a graduate of Maynard High School in the Class of 1971.

A proud and active mother of six, Gail also had a very busy work career as a dispatcher with Health Tech Ambulance in Andover and later in the Deli Department at the Market Basket in Hudson, NH.

Gail loved to play bingo but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters Mildred “Millie” (Bower) Melo and her husband Carlos of Litchfield, NH and Jaime Rich and her husband Thomas of Lowell; four sons Ralph “Sam” Bower and his wife Patricia of Hudson, NH, Patrick Norton and his wife Michelle of Nashua, NH, Walter Norton and his girlfriend Tiffany Perry of Hudson, NH and Paul Norton of Hudson, NH; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister Claudia Dellovo and her husband Charlie of Bedford; three brothers Walter Trachim and his wife Martha of Manchester, NH, Jay Trachim of Nashua, NH and Robert McConn of Raymond, NH; her best friend Louise Kennedy of Dracut and several nieces and nephews.

 She was also the mother of the late Shannon Bower and grandmother of the late Dylan “LaLa” Rich.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 5 to 8 P.M. TUESDAY. Private Funeral Services will be held for the family at a later date.
