Joseph A. Sheehy
Veteran of Vietnam War, U.S. Air Force;
Joseph A. Sheehy, 71, of Lowell died Monday afternoon November 26, 2018 at his home.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, November 7, 1947, a son of the late John E. and the late Ardelle D. (Crowell) Sheehy, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1967. Later Joe attended Middlesex Community College in Lowell.
A veteran of Vietnam War, Joe proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force.
Prior to his retirement, Joe was a repairman for Peabody Furniture in Malden where he had worked for over 25 years.
Joe was a member of Friends of Bill.
He is survived by his children, Annie (Sheehy) Carroll of Medford, Rose Sheehy of Malden and John E. Sheehy and his wife Danielle of Malden; six grandchildren; three sisters Kathryn A. Sheehy of Dracut, Maureen A. Sheehy of Lowell and Colleen A. Longtin and her husband Chris of Laconia, NH; a brother John E., “Jack” Sheehy, Jr. of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated Monday morning December 3, 2018 at ST. PATRICK CHURCH at 10 o’clock. Committal Services will be private.
