  • Maura Ammon  - So sorry
I just heard the news of Suellen's passing. I worked for many years as a social worker with Circle Home/VNA of Greater Lowell. She was always so wonderful and helpful even if you called her late in the day. I sent many referrals her ways during my years as a homecare social worker. I was sad to hear when she was retiring (selfishly) but was happy for the fun that was ahead for her. I am truly sorry for your loss. She was an amazing person and I was so fortunate to know her. She will be missed.

We had a great group of friends who managed to have a good time and be responsible while doing so. Suellen was also my prom date senior year. I hope she danced through life!

  • Beverly Bennett-Maine & Bruce  - My Cousin was a Tough Cookie!
My husband Bruce and myself want to express our condolences to all of Suellen's brothers, sisters and all her friends. My favorite story of Susie is when she babysat my sister Roberta, my brother Barry and myself. Susie LOVED to cook. We were so happy when she came from Lowell to Cambridge to watch us because the minute she got in the house she was baking cakes from scratch. I think she made us a different one every day. My Dad (Harold) finally told Susie she could bake a cake once a week because he could not eat a whole cake every other day, but he tried. Oh - AND they were DELICIOUS! In my memory Susie was the BEST Babysitter we ever had and she was a Peach then and she will remain that way in my heart forever.
  • Kathy Rogers  - Suellen was a positive spirit
My heartfelt sympathy to Suellen's family. I met Suellen through my volunteer work with the Mobile Food Pantry. She was a kind person who brought her infectious smile and positive spirit with her everywhere she went. Her legacy of giving and caring for others lives on through everyone she touched. The world is a better because of her. Suellen will be greatly missed.
