David M. Quinn


Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend;



David M. Quinn, 86, of Dracut, Massachusetts but formerly of Lowell, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.

He was the loving husband for over 61 years of Mary E. (Gallagher) Quinn, who survives him.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 18, 1935, the son of the late John A. and the late Helen I. (Brady) Quinn, he received his education in the Lowell school system.

A veteran of the Korean Conflict, David proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy.

Prior to his retirement, David worked in marketing and communications with the former Digital Corporation for many years.

Besides his wife, David is survived by three children David M. Quinn, Jr. and his wife Lizette  of Marietta, GA, Martha Lazares and her husband George of Dracut and Catherine Gaudet and her husband Glenn of Cary, NC; eight grandchildren Erin Quinn and her partner Phoebe Oliver of Georgia, Lauren Quinn of Georgia, Shannon Holizna and her husband Caleb of Georgia, Arthur Lazares of Methuen, Helena Lazares of Tyngsboro, Nicholas Lazares of Dracut, Caroline Gaudet of Malden and Aaron Gaudet of Chestnut Hill; his former daughter-in-law Linda Quinn of Brazelton, GA; a brother Edward B. Quinn.

He was also the brother of the late John Quinn, the late Robert Quinn and the late Mary J. Cox.

Due to gathering restrictions, there will be no services at this time. On Sunday July 25, 2021, the Intention for St. Margaret of Scotland Parish regularly scheduled 10:00 o’clock Mass will be in loving remembrance of David M. Quinn.
