
SHIRLEY ANN WADLAND
Shirley Ann (Perez) Wadland, 34, of Saugus, Massachusetts and formerly of Lowell, died Friday, April 29th at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Robert L. Wadland who survives her. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, April 8, 1977, the daughter of Melades Garcia of Dracut and step-daughter of Basilio Dejesus of Lowell, she moved to Lowell with her family at an early age and received her education in the Lowell school system. Shirley Ann was currently employed as a waitress with Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar in Saugus. Previously, she worked at Papa’s Bar & Grille in Malden, MA. For Shirley Ann it was all about family, as she enjoyed spending time with her children. She enjoyed sports, particularly boxing and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Besides her husband, mother and step-father, Shirley Ann is survived by a daughter Arianna Wadland of Saugus; three sons Voshon Holmes, Dominic Wadland and Anthony Wadland, all of Saugus; a brother José Perez of Dracut; her maternal grandmother Maria P. Garcia of Dracut; her mother-in-law Caroline Wadland of Malden, MA; a niece Talia Petrillo of Malden, MA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also granddaughter of the late Reverend José Garcia, daughter-in-law of the late Lawrence Wadland and cousin of the late Luis Ayala, five time Golden Gloves champion.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning at IGLESIA CRISTIANA EBENEZER ASAMBLEA de DIOS, 27 Loring Street, Lowell at 11 o’clock. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in N. Tewksbury.
