
YVETTE D. VERGADOS
Yvette D. (Pleau) Vergados, 82, of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Thursday, June 16th at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late George A. Vergados who died November 19, 2009. Born in Lowell, November 3, 1928, the daughter of the late Rosaire and the late Yvonne (Caisse) Pleau, she attended Lowell Schools and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Lowell. Before retiring, Mrs. Vergados was employed as a Sales Clerk with CVS on Bridge Street in Lowell. She was a life-long and active member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell. Among her many interests, she loved travelling to the beach and was a movie buff. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Vergados is survived by a daughter Joanne Cardone and her husband Robert of Lowell; two sons Jack Vergados of Arlington, MA and Bill Vergados and his wife Sandy of Dracut; three grandchildren Michael Cardone, Jessica Cardone and Jennifer Kelley; a brother-in-law Peter Vergados of Lowell; two life-long friends Doris LaFlamme of Lowell and Julia Anganes of Reading, MA; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was also mother of the late Linda Vergados, sister of the late Rita Jaskulka and aunt of the late Frances Couture.

Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the HELLENIC ORTHODOX CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY on Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock. Burial in Westlawn Cemetery.
