NANCY L. BOWEN

 
 Nancy L. (Ray) Bowen, 50, of Pelham, died Thursday morning, July 7th at her home. She was the beloved wife of John J. Bowen who survives her.
 Born in Boston, Massachusetts, September 4, 1960, the daughter of the late Robert F. and the late Mary F. (Vincent) Ray, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1978.
 Before retiring, Nancy worked in chemical maintenance with Dow Chemical Company in Nashua for many years.
 Among her many interests, Nancy enjoyed playing pool, bingo, instant lottery scratch tickets and was an avid player of Facebook games on the internet.
 She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
 Besides her husband John, Nancy is survived by her loving daughter Stacia L. (Ray-Wood) Dumas and her husband Scott of Lowell; two grandchildren Tyler S. Dumas and Kayleigh S. Dumas both of Lowell; two sisters Janet M. (Ray) Viellette and her husband Henry of Nashua, NH and Patricia A. (Ray) Ducharme and her husband John of Gardner, MA; two brothers Richard F. Ray of Boston, MA and Michael K. Ray of Hudson, NH; two very dear friends Cindy Stamp and her husband Neil and Taryn Riley all of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
 She was also aunt of the late Fred Buckley with whom she was his caretaker.
 
BOWEN – In Pelham, July 7, 2011, at her home, Nancy L. (Ray) Bowen, 50, of Pelham, beloved wife of John J. Bowen. Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 2 to 6 P.M. Sunday. Her Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Committal Services will be private.In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions in her memory to the ALS Association, National Headquarters, 1275 K Street NW, Suite 1050, Washington, DC 20005.
