Nadine F. Rodgers
Nadine F. Rodgers, 66, of Lowell and Melbourne Beach, Florida, died Tuesday, October 11th following a brief illness at Saints Medical Center in Lowell with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, February 19, 1945, the daughter of Ruth M. (Horman) Rodgers of Lowell and the late Richard J. Rodgers, she attended St. Patrick Grammar School and was a graduate of Keith Hall in the Class of 1962. She then went on to graduate from Lowell Commercial College with an Associate’s Degree in 1964.
Before retiring in 2000, Nadine was a Contract Specialist and Officer at the Electronic Systems Center Contracting Operations and Services Division of the United States Air Force at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford since 1964. She worked at various New England locations including the Boston Army Base and Sanders Associates in Nashua, NH.
Among her many interests, Nadine loved the game of golf and watched as many LPGA tournaments as her time would allow. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Golf Club in Lowell. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and the Caribbean and enjoyed spending her retirement years in Florida. She was an avid New England Patriots fan.
Besides her mother Ruth, Nadine is survived by three brothers Richard J. Rodgers of Tolland, CT and Melbourne Beach, FL, Thomas H. Rodgers of Melbourne Beach, FL and Eastham, MA and Joseph H. Rodgers and his wife Janice (Maroon) Rodgers of Vernon, CT; an aunt Marion Horman of Dracut,MA; her nieces and nephews Cheryl and Daniel Chamberlain and their two children of Ellington, CT, Deborah and Marc Israel and their daughter of Centerville, MA, Christine and Peter Glyman and their two children of Tolland, CT, Joseph and Nancy Rodgers and their four children of Manchester, CT, Jonilyn and Timothy Williams and their two children of Villa Rica, GA and Jennifer and Sam Valencia and their two children of Norwalk, CT; and many dear cousins and friends.
She was also sister-in-law of the late Rosemary (Carufel) Rodgers who died December 31, 1989.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST, LOWELL from 4 to 7 P.M. on Thursday. Her funeral will take place from the funeral home Friday morning at 9 o’clock followed by a Funeral Mass at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH (Lower Church) in Lowell at 10 o’clock.
