Margaret M. (Farracy) Gibson

 
Cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
 
     Margaret M. (Farracy) Gibson, 87, formerly of the Highlands section of Lowell, and later years spent in Chelmsford and Northborough, died Saturday morning at the U/Mass Medical Center in Worcester after a brief illness.
    She was the wife of the late Walter J. Gibson who died April 28, 1998.
    Born in Brighton, Massachusetts, November 19, 1923, the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Margaret (Gibbons) Farracy, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
    Retired from Lowell Lingerie, she worked as a seamstress for 23 years.
    A communicant of St. Margaret Church, she was a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality of her parish while living in Lowell, and was also a member of Mount Pleasant Country Club in Lowell.
   Margaret is survived by her daughter Suzanne Bosland and her husband Steve of Northborough with whom she resided; five grandchildren Evan Sheehan and his wife Courtney of Hingham, Timothy Bosland and his wife Kristina of Clinton, Collin Sheehan of Boston, Jonathan Bosland and his wife Dawn of Grafton and Joshua Reinhold of Los Angeles; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
   She was also the mother of the late Marcia A. Reinhold who died August 27, 1995. She was the sister of the late Edna Britton who died January 8, 2011, the late Florence Villineau, the late Mildred Morin, and the late William Farracy. 
     
GIBSON – In Worcester, October 29, 2011, at U/Mass Medical, Margaret M. (Farracy) Gibson, formerly of Lowell and now of Northborough, wife of the late Walter J. Gibson. Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 8:30 o’clock followed by a Funeral Mass at ST. MARGARET CHURCH at 9:30 o’clock. Burial to follow at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.     The Gibson's and my family were neighbors on Stevens Street for years. Always warm and welcoming and always generous to us during the many years we delivered their newspaper.
