Loving Sister and Aunt

 Lillian Rita Farley, 81, was called to the Lord on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from Saints Medical Center following a brief illness.  She was born in Lowell on December 28, 1930, the daughter of the late John and Emma (Vachon) Farley.
  Lillian was a life long parishioner of St. Patrick Church and was educated in the parish schools. She had a strong commitment to her Catholic faith.  For many years she was an employee of Symphonic and also worked at American Optical.  She retired from Double Tree Hotel in Lowell.
 A loving sister, Lily is survived by Dr. Edward J. Farley of Lowell; Francis W. Farley of  S.Yarmouth, MA; Reverend John Farley SVD of Duxbury, MA and Sister Joan Farley SND of Manchester, CT.  She was the sister-in-law of Margaret M. Farley, who died in September of 2011, whom she loved like a sister.
 Also surviving her are her nieces and nephews to whom she was a devoted aunt: Norman and Margaret Lombardi of Tyngsboro, MA; Edward and Robin Farley of Tewksbury, MA; John and Maura Farley of Lexington, S.C.; Kathleen and Richard Vargeletis of Ashby, MA; Michael and Sheila Gibbons of Derry, NH; Daniel and Suzanne Farley of Mooresville, NC; Thomas and Karlene Farley of Lowell, MA; John and Marie Kerr of N. Berwick, ME; Michael and Mary Theresa Farley of Sandwich, MA; Donald and Anne Poyant of Orleans, MA; Joseph and Sylvia Farley-Chen of  Deerfield, IL and Peter and Kathleen Nourse of Center Barnstead, NH.  She was the beloved Great Aunt to twenty eight great nieces and nephews.

FARLEY-   In Lowell, February 25, 2012, at Saints Medical, Lillian Rita Farley, 81, of Lowell.  Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in Lowell, from 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday.  Her funeral will take place from the funeral home Thursday morning at 10 o’clock followed by a Funeral Mass at ST PATRICK CHURCH at 11 o’clock.  Burial at St. Mary Cemetery in North Tewksbury.
