Frances K. Caveney

 Frances K. (McLaughlin) Caveney, 83, of the Highlands Section of Lowell, died Monday morning, March 5th at the Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Caveney, Sr. who died in 1986.
 Born in Lowell, March 30, 1928, a daughter of the late Andrew B. and the late Margaret E. (McPartland) McLaughlin, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1946. She then went on to graduate from the Bradshaw Business School.
 Before her marriage, Mrs. Caveney was employed by the former Bon Marché Department Store in Lowell. Previously, she worked in the offices of the Boott Mills and General Electric Corporation.
 After her marriage, she remained at home to focus on caring for her family. She lived in Tewksbury, Massachusetts for 20 years before returning to her hometown of Lowell.
 Mrs. Caveney is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Susan M. Ching and her husband Henry of Tampa, FL and Janet C. Fergola and her husband Francis of Haverhill, MA; two sons James E. “Buddy” Caveney, Jr. and Peter J. Caveney both of Lowell; four grandchildren Amanda Ching of Seattle, WA, Andrew Ching of FL, James Fergola and Gerilyn Fergola both of Haverhill, MA; a sister Miss Marguerite McLaughlin of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
 She was also sister of the late Mary A. Carroll, the late Louise M. Farley, the late Andrew J. McLaughlin and the late William Leo McLaughlin.
 Frances’ family wishes to thank the staff of Willow Manor who has given immeasurable comfort and care to their mother and sister.

Caveney, Sr. Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher in Lowell from 4 to 7 P.M. on Thursday. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home Friday morning at 8:30 o’clock followed by a Funeral Mass at ST. MARGARET CHURCH in Lowell at 9:30 o’clock. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.
