 Christopher M. DaCunha, 50, of Lowell, a member of a widely known Greater Lowell family, died Monday morning at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Kimberly L. (Koch) DaCunha, who survives him, and with whom he would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on December 8th.
 Born in Augsburg, Germany, July 12, 1961, the son of Anthony J. and Sonya (Heisinger) DaCunha, Sr., he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School, Class of 1979. He also served in the U.S. Army following in his father’s footsteps.
 Chris worked in the Hewlett Packard Hyper Skilled Business Unit as a Delivery Engineering Manager, and was with the company for 26 years.  He also spent many years caring for and assisting his parents before his illness.
 Chris had several interests in his life, among them, a lifelong passion for music playing in various bands in New England, playing golf with family and friends, mountain biking, but most of all spending time with his wife and children. 
 Besides his wife and parents, Chris is survived by two daughters Sonya L. DaCunha of Lowell and Natashia R. DaCunha of Visalia, CA; two sons Christopher M. DaCunha, II and his wife Michelle (LaBouef) of San Francisco, CA and Anthony J. DaCunha, II of Manchester, NH; two step grandchildren Cheyenne Brooks and Zachary Davenport; three sisters Manuela Perin and her husband John of Cumming, GA, Yvonne Wecker and her husband Albert of Jacksonville, FL and Angela Piscitelli and her husband Nicholas of Lowell;  a brother Eric D. DaCunha and his wife Beth Ann (Bergeron) of Londonderry, NH; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
 He was also the brother of the late Anthony J. DaCunha, Jr.  who died October 25, 1974.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 8 P.M. Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service Saturday morning at the TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH in CHELMSFORD at 10 o’clock. Committal Services to follow at the Edson Cemetery in Lowell.
