Louise K. (Kelley) Sullivan

Beloved mother, grandmother,
 
     Louise K. (Kelley) Sullivan, 82, a widely known resident of the Highlands section of the City, died Thursday afternoon at Sunny Acres Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
     She was the wife of the late James F. Sullivan who died April 18, 2006.
     Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 4, 1930, the daughter of the late George J. and the late Louise (Leonard) Kelley, she attended St. Michael Grammar School and Keith Hall where she graduated in the Class of 1948. She went on to graduate from Lowell Commercial College.
     Prior to her retirement, she worked as a customer service representative for the former Union National Bank in Lowell.
     Louise was a lifelong communicant of St. Margaret Church in Lowell.
     Active in her community, she was a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality of her parish, a former member of the Morey School Parent Teacher Association and with her good friends, the Coffee Club of Belvidere. Louise was also an avid fan of the University of Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish Football team.
     In the course of her life, Louise touched the lives of many and added a positive influence to her City. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her.
     Louise is survived by two daughters Nancy L. Downes and her husband Brian of Pelham, NH and Maura A. McKenney and her husband George of Nashua, NH; two grandchildren James Brian Downes and Alison Kelley Downes both of Pelham; a sister Mary Rita O’Toole of Westwood; two nieces Frances DeLorey of Westwood and Ann Marie O’Toole of Quincy; a nephew Peter O’Toole of Green Harbor, MA; and many dear friends,
 
SULLIVAN – In Chelmsford, January 17, 2013, at Sunny Acres, Louise K. (Kelley) Sullivan of the Highlands section of Lowell, wife of the late James F. Sullivan. Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 7 P.M. Monday. Her funeral will take place from the funeral home Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock followed by her Funeral Mass at ST. MARGARET CHURCH at 9:30 o’clock. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
