Beloved mother and grandmother

       Pauline B. (LeDuc) (Gilbert) Thyne, 87, of Lowell, died Friday March 8, 2013 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late James G. Thyne, Sr..
       Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 24, 1925, the daughter of the late Armand and the late Rose (Richard) LeDuc, she received her education in the Lowell school system.
       Before retirement, Pauline worked in housekeeping at Fairhaven Nursing Home and Willow Manor Nursing Home, both in Lowell.
       In addition to spending time with her family, Pauline enjoyed playing bingo and cards with friends at Lord Manor.
       Pauline is survived by her daughter Jean M. Pastor and her husband Edison of Pelham; two daughters-in-law Patricia Gilbert of Dudley, MA and Tuan Gilbert of Fayetteville, NC; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister Lillian Jasmin of Fountain Valley, CA; a brother Norman LeDuc and his wife Jeanne of Tyngsboro, MA; many nieces and nephews; and several dear friends.
       She was also the mother of the late Michael A. Gilbert, Sr. and the late Donald G. Gilbert.
       Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service to be held Wednesday morning, April 24, 2013 at ST. RITA CHURCH at 9 o'clock. Committal Services will be private.
