A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend
Audrey A. (Dalton) Spanos, 44, of Pelham, New Hampshire, a member of a well known Greater Lowell family, died Monday April 22, 2013 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, while vacationing with her family as a result of a five year battle with lung cancer.
Audrey volunteered to participate in multiple clinical trials for the advancement of cancer treatment, not only for herself, but also for the benefit of those who might follow.
She was beloved wife of Chris A. Spanos with whom she would have celebrated her 20th Wedding Anniversary this September.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, October 22, 1968, the daughter of Mary (Cardoza) Dalton and the late William Dalton, she was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro.
Audrey attended Lowell Schools and was a graduate of the Print Shop at Greater Lowell Regional Technical High School in the Class of 1986.
A super mom, life was all about family, especially her daughters. She also enjoyed decorating her house for family and friends.
Besides her husband and mother, Audrey is survived by two daughters Karisa Spanos, a Senior at Pelham High School and Paige Spanos, a Freshman at Pelham High School; two sisters Barbie Moses and her husband Joe of Tyngsboro and Jody Theriault and her husband Kevin of Tewksbury; a brother Billy Dalton of Tyngsboro; her father in law Charles Spanos of Lowell, her in laws Sandy Thibedeau and her husband Tim of Spring TX Charlene Morrisey and her husband Ron of Hudson and Chuck Spanos; her Goddaughter Katie Newt of Dracut; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
