McLean P. “Mac” Connor

Age 7, First Grade Student St. Margaret School

   McLean P. “Mac” Connor, 7, of Chelmsford, beloved son of William F. and Rebecca (McLean) Connor, III, died Saturday evening May 11, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer.

   Born in Boston, Massachusetts, July 22, 2005, Mac was a First Grade student at St. Margaret Grammar School in Lowell.

   In his brief but very special life, Mac deeply touched the lives of all whom he came in contact with including the U/Mass Lowell Riverhawk’s Baseball team whom made him an Honorary Member of their team.

   As a recipient of the Make A Wish Foundation, Mac was a guest of Robert Downey, Jr. on the set of “Iron Man III”, his favorite Marvel Comic character, in Los Angeles, CA.

   Besides his parents, Mac is survived by his loving big brother William F. “Liam” Connor of Chelmsford, a Fourth Grader at St. Margaret Grammar School; his maternal grandparents Patrick and Kathryn (Phaneuf) McLean of Dracut; his paternal grandmother Candace T. (Callahan) Connor of Chelmsford; his aunts and uncles Elizabeth Thompson and her husband Erik of Medway, Michael McLean of Willow Springs, NC, Bridget A. Connor of Lowell, and many great uncles, aunts and cousins.

   Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 8 P.M. Tuesday. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at ST. MARGARET CHURCH at 9:30 o’clock.
