William T. McKenna

Retired bookbinder, Good Way Graphics, Courier Citizen

 William T. McKenna, 70, of Nashua, NH but for many years a resident of Lowell, died Friday  May 31, 2013 at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in West Roxbury.
 He was the beloved husband of Effie (Regopoulos) McKenna with whom he would have celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on September 17, 2013.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 10, 1943, the son of the late Francis X. and the late Elizabeth (Riley) McKenna, he attended St. Patrick Grammar School and was a graduate of Keith Academy in the Class of 1960.
 A veteran of the Vietnam War, Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army.
 Prior to his retirement as a bookbinder with Good Way Graphics, Bill worked for the Courier Citizen for many years.
 A former member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks, Bill was a family man and enjoyed being with his family on a regular basis.
 Besides his wife, Bill is survived by two sons Thomas P. McKenna and Michael A. McKenna both of Nashua, NH; a granddaughter Avery McKenna of Nashua, NH; a sister Ann Marie Kendrigan and her husband Robert of Florida; a brother Francis McKenna and his wife Alberta of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
