 Barbara A. (O’Loughlin) Winward, 82, of Lowell, died Friday, June 14th at the Genesis Westford House in Westford. She was the wife of the late John Winward who died November 7, 2006.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 29, 1931, the daughter of the late Terrence and the late Vera (McOsker) O’Loughlin, she attended St. Peter’s Grammar School in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1948.
 Barbara was all about family and especially loved time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 Among her many other activities, Barbara enjoyed knitting and reading. She was also a volunteer Home Health Aide.
 Mrs. Winward is survived by two daughters Judy Urban and her husband Gerry of Londonderry, NH and Jayne Boulanger of Tyngsboro, MA; three sons Jack Winward and his wife Robbie of Lowell, James Winward and his wife Marcelle of Abilene, TX and Jeff Winward and his wife Cheryl of Lowell, MA; twelve grandchildren Christine Cardillo and her husband David of Chelmsford, MA, Daniel Boulanger of Arvada, CO, Kathryn Picotte and her husband Matthew of Chelmsford, MA, Rebecca Primeau and her husband Joshua of Tyngsboro, MA, Kerrie Urban of Waltham, MA, Jaime Brunelle of Exeter, NH, John Michael Winward of Plymouth, MA, Mara Winward of Lowell, MA, Sarah Diaz and her husband Brandon of Abilene, TX, Emily Winward of Abilene, TX, Bryanna Hurley of Lowell, MA and Felicia Winward of Lowell. MA; seven great-grandchildren Jacob Cardillo, Brooke Cardillo, Patrick Winward, Audrey Primeau, Adele Primeau, Lorelei Picotte and Gabrielle Brunelle; two sisters Mary Palmer of Exeter, NH and Jane Riley and her husband Pat of Tyngsboro, MA; a sister-in-law Carol O’Loughlin of Pittsboro, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
 She was also sister of the late Joan Pelzer, the late Frank O’Loughlin and the late Eileen Barnett.
 Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday morning at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH (Lower Church) in Lowell at 9 o'clock. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
