Josephine B. Alexander

Josephine B. (Holland) Alexander, 94, a resident of Lowell, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard H. Alexander who died July 8, 1974.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, May 29, 1919, the daughter of the late James and the late Julia (O’Hearn) Holland, she received her education in the Lowell school system.
Among her many enjoyments, Josephine especially loved her weekly luncheons and shopping with her niece, Janice.
Josephine is survived by a niece Janice M. Sousa and her husband Richard of Nashua, NH; three grandnieces Lynne Estes and her husband Robert of Derry, NH, Dawn Sousa of Nashua, NH and Kerri Kelly and her husband Richard of Tewksbury, MA; one great-grandniece Alicia DeLuca of Derry, NH; and two great-grandnephews Sam DeLuca of Derry, NH and Zachary Kelly of Tewksbury, MA.
