Beloved father, son and brother

Derrick Steven O’Neill, age 32, of Tyngsborough and a member of a well known Greater Lowell family, passed away Friday August 23, 2013 in Tyngsborough.

He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, October 23, 1980.

Beloved by his parents, Steven and Vicki (Pissinis) O’Neill of Tyngsborough, Derrick attended the Ste Jeanne d’Arc School and Lowell Catholic.

Derrick had previously worked as a driver for Albert H. Notini and Sons in Lowell.

Derrick had several interests but his true love and joy was
the time he spent with his son Matthew.

In addition to his parents, Derrick is survived by his best buddy - his son Matthew Derrick O’Neill of Tyngsborough; his brother and best friend Jarred O'Neill and his wife Kristine (Szulga) O'Neill of Chelmsford; sisters Ashley O'Neill and Stephanie O'Neill of Tyngsborough; Matthew's mother Ana Alcantara of Tyngsborough; paternal grandparents John and Connie O'Neill of Tyngsborough and maternal grandfather John Pissinis of Tilton,NH. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Derrick is predeceased by his maternal grandmothers Beverly Gearty and Carol Pissinis.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. Wednesday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Thursday morning at ST.
