Fabiola M. (Emond) (Benoit) Morin, 90, of Lowell, died Wednesday, November 6th at Lowell General Hospital/Saints Campus. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Morin who died November 17, 2002.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 13, 1923, the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Fabiola (Plante) Emond, she attended St. Joseph Grammar School in Lowell, Westport High School in Westport, MA and then graduated from the Lowell Trade School (now known as the Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School).
Prior to her retirement, Fabiola was employed as a Mail Clerk with the former Wang Laboratories in Lowell. Previously, she was a Sales Clerk at Poitras Shoe Company in Lowell and also worked as a Seamstress.
Among her many activities, Fabiola was a member of the Lowell Senior Center, a life member of the Walker-Rogers VFW Post 662 Ladies Auxiliary in Lowell, and a member of the All Care Day Center in Chelmsford.
She was also the wife of the late Aime Benoit.
Fabiola is survived by a daughter Rose Watne of Lowell; three sons Henry Benoit and his wife Priscilla of Dracut, MA, Paul Benoit and his wife Elaine of Pelham, NH and Roger Benoit and his wife Anastasia of Lowell, MA; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; two brothers Eugene Emond of Portsmouth, RI and Harold Davis of Rock Hill, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Agnes Walter, Edward Emond, Roger Emond and Robert Emond.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Tuesday morning at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 9 to 10 A.M. followed by her Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 10 o’clock.
