Gladys K. Assaly


  Gladys K. Assaly, 90, of North Chelmsford, the last of seven brothers and sisters, died peacefully Tuesday evening at Lowell General Hospital.
  Born in Montreal, Canada, the daughter of the late Akle G. and the late Annisee (Sikkey) Assaly, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
  Gladys worked as a Secretary for Goodwill Industries in Lowell for many years until her retirement.
  She was a longtime devout member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell.
  Gladys will be sadly missed by her family, whom she enjoyed spending all of her time with.  She is survived by her nephew Donald Mansur of North Chelmsford; two nieces, Ida Sheehan and her husband Daniel of North Chelmsford and Alice Assaly of Frazier Park, CA; five great nieces: Nora Sheehan and Rachel Sheehan, both of Lynn; Hannah Sheehan, Keara Sheehan and Bridget Sheehan all of North Chelmsford, and a great nephew, Timothy Sheehan of North Chelmsford.
  Gladys was predeceased by all of her siblings, with whom she was very close. She was the sister of the late Jennie Mansur, the late Wilfred G. Assaly, the late Michael G. Assaly, the late Mary M. Assaly, the late Adelene M. Assaly, and the late Linda T. Assaly.
  Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 2 to 4 P.M. Sunday. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home Monday morning at 10 o’clock followed by her Funeral Service at ST. GEORGE ANTIOCHIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH at 11 o’clock. Burial n the Westlawn Cemetery.
