 Mineera M. (Elias) Skaff, 94, of North Chelmsford and a member of a well known Lowell family, died Saturday, December 21st at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late George M. Skaff who died September 29, 1970.
 Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, January 22, 1919, the daughter of the late Salem and the late Shelaby (Namay) Elias, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1937.
 Mineera was a lifelong member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell.
 Before retiring, she was employed as a Sales Associate with the former Cherry & Webb in Lowell.
 Among her many activities, Mineera enjoyed cooking, traveling and frequent trips to Foxwoods Casino. She spent her summers at the family home in Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. But the one thing would always thoroughly brighten her day was spending quality time with her grandson Robbie.
 Mineera is survived by two sons Michael G. Skaff and his wife Diane of Nashua, NH and Robert G. Skaff of Hudson, NH; her grandson Robert G. “Robbie” Skaff.; a sister Rosalind Elias of New York City, NY; two sisters-in-law Patricia Elias of Charleston, W.VA and Ella Jean Elias of Dunstable, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
 She was also mother of the late Judith A. Skaff who died February 24, 2010 and sister of the late Lionel Elais, Alexander Elias, Isa Elias, Salem Elias, Eva Champagne, Adele Saab and Agnes Moses.
 Mineera’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Milkah Mbugua for her many years of care and devotion to Mineera and her daughter Judy.
 
SKAFF – In Lowell, December 21, 2013, at Lowell General, Mineera M. (Elias) Skaff of No. Chelmsford, beloved wife the late George M. Skaff. Friends may call at ST. GEORGE ANTIOCHIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH 44 BOWERS ST. in Lowell from 3 to 7 P.M. Thursday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service to be celebrated Friday morning at ST.
