loving mother and grandmother, of Lowell, 57

 Rita A. (Gonsalves) Ypya, 57, of Lowell, died Tuesday, February 25th at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Waino Ypya who died January 16, 2014.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 13, 1956, a daughter of Rita E. (Rondeau) Gonsalves of Lowell and the late John Gonsalves, she attended Lowell schools and was a Graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1974.
 Before a disability forced her retirement, Rita was employed as an Expense Coordinator with the TJX Corporation in Woburn for over 32 years.
 Among her many activities, Rita loved music of all kinds, enjoyed reading and was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. She was also a member of the Dom Polski Club in Lowell.
 Being all about family, she absolutely loved spending quality time with her grandchildren.
 In addition to her mother, Rita is survived by a son Andrew R. Ypya and his wife Chelsea of Salem, NH; two grandchildren Hailie Ypya and Logan Ypya; four sisters Marcy Coco and her husband Anthony of Lawrence,  MA, Kathy Gonsalves, Karen Stopyra and her husband Andy of Lowell, MA and Antoinette Robbins and her husband Jason of Nashua, NH; six brothers Ken Gonsalves, John Gonsalves and his wife Reta “Dee”, Chris Gonsalves, Michael Gonsalves and his wife Tina and Thomas Gonsalves all of Lowell, MA and David Gonsalves and his wife Allyson of Billerica, MA; his special cousins who were also her caregivers Natalie and Bill McCann of Lowell; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Tuesday morning at ST. FRANCIS CHURCH in Dracut at 9 o’clock. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
