Kevin R. Furtado

Over 30 baseball player;

 Kevin R. Furtado, 43, of Lowell, died Tuesday, March 11th at Lowell General Hospital. He was the longtime companion of Kathy Mullen of Lowell.

 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, May 10, 1970, the son of James J. and Elaine (Pelletier) Furtado of Hudson, Florida, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1988.

 Kevin was formerly a painter with Gebro Painting in N.H. Previously, he was a deleader and painter at Environmental Restorations, Incorporated in Hampstead, N.H.

 Among his many activities, Kevin was a member of the Over Thirty Baseball League in Lowell since 2000. He was also a former A-Shooter dart player in the Mill City Dart League in Lowell. He loved New England sports, especially the Red Sox and Bruins.

 Kevin’s family is proud and thankful that his final wish was to have his organs donated so that others could live on.

 In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by two daughters Kristen E. Higgins of Lowell and Kaitlin Broadhurst of NH; a sister Patricia R. Furtado and her longtime companion Tom Cullinan of Sagamore Beach, MA; a brother James J. Furtado and his wife Michelle of Derry, NH; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
 

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 7 P.M. Thursday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Friday morning at ST.
