 Anastasia Mary (Barrows) Silver, age 86, formerly of Lowell, MA, but a resident of Boynton Beach, FL for the past 17 years, , died peacefully at home in Florida on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
 She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald G. Silver, with whom she would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2014. 
 Born on February 7, 1928 in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Frederick W. and the late Elizabeth H. (Riley) Barrows, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1945 where she was the Lt. Colonel of the Girl Officers Regiment.
 Prior to her retirement she worked for many years at Saints Memorial Hospital (now known as Lowell General Hospital – Saint’s campus) and Merrill Real Estate.
  She was an avid fan of all New England sports teams but especially the Boston Red Sox.  However the true love of her life was her family – she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.  Anastasia will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.
 Besides her husband she is survived by her three loving children, a daughter, Roberta and her husband William Dinneen of Groton, MA, a daughter, Ronniann Silver of Overland Park, KS, and a son, Jonathan and his wife Rebecca Silver of Black Rock, CT.  She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Geoffrey Dinneen of London, England and Nathan, Eleanor and Hannah Silver of Black Rock, CT. 
 In addition, she is survived by her devoted sister, Margaret Flannery and her brother-in-law, Joseph Flannery, her sister-in-law, Effie (Bikos) Barrows, her brother-in-law, Leo Foley, her sister-in-law, Marcelle (Lord) Silver and her brother-in-law, Rev. Bertram N. Silver, OMI of Japan and many nieces and nephews.
  She was also the sister of the late Fredrick II, John, Mary, Robert, Daniel and Fredrick III Barrows, the late Elizabeth Gallagher, Elinor Foley, Patricia Frawley, Theresa Richards, Louise DeAngelo and Anne Corcoran.
  Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. from 3 to 7 P.M. Thursday, May 8, 2014. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday morning, May 9, 2014 at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH at 10 o’clock. Burial of ashes will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
