 Mary H. (Diaz) McCarron, 79, a member of a well known Greater Lowell family, died peacefully Friday, May 23rd at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 58 years of the late John J. McCarron who died November 3, 2013.
 Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, July 19, 1934, the daughter of the late Manuel and the late Guadalupe (Salazar) Diaz, she was a graduate of St. Mary High School in Oklahoma City in the Class of 1951 and Blackwood Business College in 1952.
 Before retiring, Mary was employed as an Administrative Assistant with Digital Equipment Corporation in Littleton, MA. Previously, she worked at Wang Laboratories in Lowell, MA.
 Among her many activities, Mary enjoyed traveling, with trips to Spain, Italy, Australia, Mexico and all over the United States. She especially loved spending time with her family, baking, sewing, music and spending summers in York Beach in Maine. She was a member of the St. Margaret Church Choir in Lowell.
 Mary is survived by ten children John J. McCarron, Jr. and his wife Salome of Lowell, Stephen E. McCarron and his wife Shannon of Lowell, Timothy K. McCarron and his wife Joanne of Chelmsford, Laura A. Boucher and her husband Mark of Epping, NH, Edward T. McCarron of Fitchburg, Kevin M. McCarron of Washington, D.C., Lisa C. Sousa of Dunstable, Kenneth A. McCarron of Lowell, Elaine M. Shirley and her husband Gregg of Londonderry, NH and Neil P. McCarron of Lowell; 21 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; four sisters Estella Heaton of Dallas, TX, Carmen Munoz and her husband Raul of Littleton, CO, Emelia Wolff and her husband John of Box Elder, SD and Esther Hulse and her husband Max of Eagle River, AK; three brothers Manuel Diaz of Oklahoma City, OK, Edward Diaz and his wife Rosa of El Paso, TX and John Diaz and his wife Maria of Maumelle, AR; two sisters-in-law Dorothy Duggan of Chelmsford, MA and Virginia Gregoire of Salt Lake City, UT; a brother-in-law Thomas McCarron and his wife Jenny of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and many nieces and Nephews.
 There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Monday morning at ST.MARGARET CHURCH at 11 o’clock.  Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.  E-condolences/directions at odonnellfuneralhome.com.
