 Gilbert Michael Brasil, 42, of Lowell, died Friday, June 6th at his home.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 18, 1972, a son of Gilbert S. Brasil and his wife Jane of Haverhill, MA and the late Alice (Daunais) Brasil, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of the Greater Lowell Technical High School in the Class of 1992.
 Most recently, Gil was employed as a Detention Attendee with the Lowell Police Department for over 14 years. Previously, he was a Dispatcher with Kazanjian’s Towing in Lowell.
 Among his many activities, Gil was an avid New England sports fan, especially of the Red Sox and Patriots and he enjoyed the time he spent playing cards with his friends at the East End Club in Lowell. He was also a die-hard participant in Fantasy Football.
 In addition to his father and step-mother, Gil is survived by a sister Michelle Gauthier of Sunnyvale, CA; a brother Roland Gauthier and his wife Annmarie of Hudson, NH; two nieces Ashley and Kristin Gauthier; a nephew Ryan M. Lee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
 Gil was a loyal son, brother and friend who was loved by all and will be forever missed.
 There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass to be celebrated on Saturday morning at the PARISH of ST. RITA in Lowell at 9 o’clock. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. E-condolences at
