Patricia A. “Patsy” (Reynolds) Cawley


 Loving mother and grandmother;
 
  Patricia A. “Patsy” (Reynolds) Cawley, 84, a member of a well known Greater Lowell family, died Sunday morning at Emerson Hospital in Concord surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Cawley, who died February 7, 1997.
  Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 14, 1930, the daughter of the late James H. and the late Agnes (O’Sullivan) Reynolds, Patsy attended Lowell Schools and graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1949 where she served as the Colonel of the Girl Officers. She went on to graduate from Bradford Junior College.
  A life long communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, Patsy was also an active member of the community serving her church, various charitable organizations and local schools over the years.
  A proud Navy wife, she especially enjoyed the times she spent with her family and friends at Popponesset Beach on Cape Cod.
  Patsy was a loving mother and grandmother, humble in nature who never sought the limelight but lived her life with subtle grace and elegance. She served as an inspiration to both her family and friends.
  She was also a longtime member of Vesper Country Club.
  Patsy is survived by four children Patricia C. “Patti” Foye and her husband Peter of Acton, Edward M. “Ted” Cawley and his wife Karen of Tewksbury, Susan C. Ryan and her husband Tom of Groton and Peter M. Cawley and his wife Mary of Virginia Beach, VA; her loving grandchildren Lauren Foye Murphy and her husband Matt of Boston, Megan E. Foye of Boston, Daniel E. Cawley, Ryan M. Cawley and Jennifer E. Cawley of Tewksbury and Thomas Patrick Ryan, Bridget E. Ryan and Caitlin C. Ryan of Groton; a sister Jaqueline Mahoney of North Hampton, NH; and many dear nieces and nephews.
  She was also the sister of the late James Reynolds, the late John Reynolds, the late Richard Reynolds and the late Brian Reynolds.
  Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 7 P.M. on Thursday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH (Lower Church) Friday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
