Gregory A. Holroyd Served with 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army      Gregory A. Holroyd, 52, of Lowell, died Wednesday afternoon at Lowell General Hospital - Saints Campus following a very brief illness.     Born in Fulton, New York, July 11, 1962, the beloved son of Annette J. (Sykes) Holroyd of Lowell and Joseph A. Holroyd and his wife Virginia of Farmington, NY, he moved to Massachusetts and attended Westford Schools and was a graduate of Westford Academy in the Class of 1980.      Greg then joined the U.S. Army where he served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division from 1980 until 1983.     Following the service, Greg worked as a machinist for Northeast Forms in Lowell.      Besides his parents, Greg is survived by his wife Patricia J. (Frizzel) (Bean) Holroyd of Durham, NY; two sons Joseph A. Holroyd of Essex, MA and Brandon J. Holroyd of Durham, NY; a step son Robert Bean from Newburyport; a sister Patricia A. Holroyd and her boyfriend of Tewksbury; his nephew Scott R. Holroyd of Tewksbury; and a step sister Joanna L. Holroyd of Farmington, NY.     Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 11:00 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. on Monday followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 1:00 o’clock.
