Patricia F. (Nagle) Griffin

 
Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother;
 
 Patricia F. (Nagle) Griffin, 87, formerly of the Highlands section of Lowell, died Monday evening at the Bedford Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, New Hampshire. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph R. Griffin who died in 1973.
  Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 16, 1927, the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Elizabeth (Sullivan) Nagle, she attended St. Peter's Grammar School and was a graduate of Keith Hall in the Class of 1944.
  A member of the last group of local operators with New England Telephone in Lowell, Pat was a Supervisor at the time of her retirement from AT&T (aka Verizon) where she had worked for many years. She was also a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers.
  A longtime communicant of St. Margaret Church in Lowell, she was also a member of Blessed Virgin Sodality of her parish.
  Pat is survived by three daughters Patricia E. Griffin of Lawrenceville, GA, Mary Elizabeth Marsh and her late husband William of Springboro, Ohio and Martha A. Sanford and her husband George of Mt. Pleasant, TX; two sons Joseph R. Griffin and his wife Maureen of Merrimack, NH and Stephen J. Griffin and his wife Christina of Hooksett, NH; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister Virginia Thompson of Chelmsford; and many nieces, nephews grandnieces and grandnephews.
 She was also the sister of the late Barbara Mulligan and the late Joan Mahoney and sister in law of the late William Thompson, the late Leo Mahoney, the late Mary J. (Griffin ) Hirbour and her husband the late Norman Hirbour.
 Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 2 to 5 P.M. Sunday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Monday morning at ST. MARGARET CHURCH at 10:30 am. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell.
