Blanche R. "Bonnie" Evans

Blanche R. "Bonnie" (Krol) Evans, 87, of Lowell, died Monday, October 6th at Lowell General Hospital/Saints Campus with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold J. Evans who died October 21, 1975.
Born in Billerica, Massachusetts, June 19, 1927, the daughter of the late Francis and the late Regina (Pietz) Krol, she received her education in the Billerica school system.
Before retiring, Blanche was employed as a solderer and wiring technician at the former Wang Laboratories in Tewksbury and Lowell for many years.
Among her many activities, Blanche enjoyed shopping, painting and drawing. She also had an affection for bird watching and walks on the beach.
But above all else, being all about family, she loved spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Blanche is survived by two daughters Sandra G. Hernandez and her companion Baron Wright of Hudson, NH and Carol L. Evans and her companion Brian Richmond of Boston, MA; a son-in-law Jesus Heli Hernandez and his wife Diane of Lowell; three grandchildren Bianca T. Hernandez and her companion José Hernandez of Lowell, Sean A. Hernandez and his companion Jessica Underwood of Lowell and Michael X. Hernandez and his companion Caressa Larocque of Manchester, NH; a great-grandson Jesus Heli Hernandez, II; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping in accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Thursday morning, October 9th at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell at 10 o’clock. E-condolences at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
