M. Patricia “Pat” Ashe
M. Patricia “Pat” Ashe, 74, of Lowell, died Saturday, November 15th at Town & Country Health Care Center in Lowell with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 19, 1940, a daughter of the late James G. and the late Mary K. (Wall) Ashe, she attended St. Margaret Grammar School in Lowell and was a graduate of Keith Hall in the Class of 1958.
Before retiring, Pat was employed by the City of Lowell as a Clerk in the Treasurer’s Office for over 21 years. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Margaret Church in Lowell.
Among her many activities, Pat was a greeter at St. Margaret Church and also volunteered on various committees there. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and loved making candy.
Pat is survived by two sisters Katherine A. Gelasco of Charleston, SC and Eileen Ashe of Lowell, MA; a niece Sarah A. Wilson of Tappahannock, VA; six nephews Andrew Gelasco and his wife Pamela of Charleston, SC, Mitchell Gelasco of Boxboro, MA, Eli Gelasco and his wife Rebecca of Millis, MA, Edmund Wilson and his wife Pamela of Leesburg, VA, Gregory Wilson of Washington D.C. and William Wilson of Denver, CO; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was also sister of the late James A. Ashe and the late Judith (Ashe) Wilson.
Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 7 P.M. Wednesday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at ST.
