M. Patricia Baxter

Loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt;

M. Patricia “Patty” Baxter, 71, of Lowell, died Friday morning at Sunny Acres Nursing Home, with her loving family by her side.
 
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 16, 1943, the daughter of the late Herbert and the late Josephine (Donlon) Baxter, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1961.
 
Patty went on to graduate from Northeastern University in 1963 with an Associate’s Degree in Radiology.
 
Prior to her retirement, she worked as an X-Ray Technician for the Choate Medical Center in Woburn for several years, and was a longtime communicant of St. Margaret’s Church in Lowell.
 
Throughout her life, Pat played tennis, danced to Irish music and appreciated all things Elvis. To many of her friends' surprise, she also held a private pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. She loved traveling with her family and Don, anywhere from Boston to the Caribbean.  Pat was a fan of all things that sparkle, and everyone around her saw this reflected in her smile.

Pat is survived by t wo daughters Tammi Pudlo of Lowell and Patricia Koziol and her husband Robert of Boston; a son John Pudlo of Lowell; a granddaughter Ariana Pudlo; her sister Kathleen “Kittie” Henry and her husband Richard of Dunstable; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion Donald Femiano of Chelmsford.  Her family wishes to thank everyone at Sunny Acres in Chelmsford for their loving assistance during this journey.
 
Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher for her Memorial Visitation from 4 to 7 P.M. Tuesday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass to be celebrated Wednesday morning at ST. MARGARET CHURCH at 10:30 A.M. (Please meet at church).
