Carol J. Ayotte

Loving mother and grandmother, of Lowell, 61

Carol J. (Pike) Ayotte, 61, of Lowell, died Thursday, January 22nd at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved fiancée of George J. Valkavitch who survives her.
Born in Oakland, California, October 20, 1953, the daughter of the late Ralph Pike, Sr. and the late Gladys Pike, her family soon after moved east to Lowell and she received her education in the Lowell school system.

Among her many interests, Carol enjoyed cooking, bingo, playing pool and was known by many to be a “Keno Enthusiast”. She was also an avid New England sports fan, especially of the red Sox and Patriots. However, her most treasured moments were the quality times she spent with her fiancé, children and grandchildren.
In addition to her fiancé George, Carol is survived by three daughters Shannon M. Ayotte of Amesbury, MA, Jeannette L. Bolio and her husband Brian of Westford, MA and Jennifer A. Ayotte of Nashua, NH; two step-daughters Christine Dionne and her husband Christian of Lowell, MA and Tammie Amill and her husband Ramon of Hudson, NH; six grandchildren Corey, Juan, Melieena, Brandon, Brianna and Tommy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Mary Pike, Audrey Gagne, Nancy Bobola and Ralph Pike, Jr.
Carol’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Lowell General Hospital for the outstanding care, compassion and comfort they extended to her during her brief inpatient status there.
