I have many happy memories of Mrs. Fanning puttering with Aunt Jean in the A Street kitchen while Kathy and I played upstairs or climbed the apple tree in the backyard.
I appreciate more than ever how this generous good neighbor contributed to raising an entire street of rambunctious children.
May she rest in peace.
