Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
Patricia Ann (Davis) Roberts, 72, of Lowell, died Saturday, April 9th at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Arthur R. Roberts who survives her and with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on June 30 2015. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Edward F. Davis, Sr. and the late Esther G. (McShea) Davis, she attended St. Patrick Grammar School and was a graduate of St. Patrick Girl’s High School. Among her many interests, Pat enjoyed vacationing and traveling to Atlantic City and especially loved Walt Disney World in Florida. She was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Above all else though, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by two daughters Maureen Barry and Pamela Sawtelle and her husband Edward all of Lowell, MA; a son George A. Roberts and his wife Renee of Dracut, MA; fifteen grandchildren Richard Barry and his companion Satha Thach, Jonathan Barry and his wife Nicole, Sarah Langathianos, Meghan Langathianos, Nicole Langathianos and her companion Paul Alicia, Stephanie Langathianos, Michael Bahou, Jr., Jason Bahou and his wife Chrystyana, Timothy Bahou and his companion Valerie Michaud, Victoria Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Edward Sawtelle, Jr., Christina Dorval, Keith Sawtelle and Michelle Olena; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister Esther Lopez of Newton, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Edward Davis, Jr., Mary DiRocco, John “Jackie” Davis and Elizabeth “Betty” Davis.
Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Wednesday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in Lowell at 10 o’clock. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. Those wishing may make contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
