George M. Hood, Sr.

 
 George M. Hood, Sr., 44, of Nashua, died Saturday, September 9th at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Amy L. (Beaton) Hood who survives him.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, May 16, 1973, a son of the late George L. and the late Rita (Savard) Hood, he received his education at the Greater Lowell Regional Technical High School.
 Known for being an extremely hard worker, George was currently employed as a heavy equipment operator with Corporate Reserve Supply in North Billerica. Previously, he worked at Littleton Lumber.
 George loved cooking outside and would often be seen slaving over the grill no matter the weather. He enjoyed going to the beach, was very outgoing and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was also a huge and avid New England Patriots fan.
 In addition to his wife Amy, George is survived by two sons David L. Peltier and his wife Amy of Pepperell, MA and George M. Hood, Jr. of Nashua, NH; a sister Leanne Gauthier; a brother Danny Hood; and several nieces and nephews.
 He was also father of the late Joseph W. Peltier.
 Relatives and friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST in Lowell from 10:30 to 12:00 noon on Monday immediately followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 12 o’clock. Committal Services will be held privately. E-condolences/directions at
