 Loving wife, mother grandmother, great grandmother and sister

Theresa L. (Gauthier) Spanos, 82, of Dracut, a member of a well-known Greater Lowell family, died Wednesday morning at home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of James G. Spanos, Sr., who survives her.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, May 12, 1935, a daughter of the late Alfred and the late Irene (Berube) Gauthier, she attended Dracut Schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School with the Class of 1952.
 A proud mother of three, Theresa had many interests. She enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, playing bingo and was a passionate Patriots and Red Sox fan. However, her true love was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 Besides her husband Jim, she is survived by three children James G. Spanos, Jr. and his wife Deena of Milford, NH, Debra Ludwig and her husband Robert of Dracut and Linda Entwistle and her husband Scott of Lowell; six grandchildren Tiffany Spanos, Billy Spanos and his wife Lindsey, Robert Ludwig, Michael Ludwig and his wife Kristen, David Entwistle and Lindsay Entwistle; two great grandchildren Jake and Laney; six sisters Rita Miele and her husband Ralph, Germaine Woodman and her husband Ray, Constance Gauthier and her partner Rita Toppi, Diane Daigle and her husband Ron, Dolores Kaplon and her husband Dennis, and Elizabeth Quintal; two brothers Roger Gauthier and his wife Jackie, and Hector Gauthier and his wife Rhonda; a special brother-in-law Charles Spanos; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
 She was also the sister of the late Roland, Rudolph, Richard and Paul Gauthier.
  Friends may call at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 7 P.M. Monday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Tuesday morning at STE. MARGUERITE D’YOUVILLE CHURCH in DRACUT at 12:00 Noon with burial to follow at the Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell. E-condolences/directions at
