Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt

 Jeanne D. (Connell) Morris, 92, of Lowell, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 13th at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Morris who died March 8, 1972.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, September 15, 1925, a daughter of the late David and the late Jeanne (Shepard) Connell, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. She also graduated from the Lowell Academy of Hairdressing in 1961.
 Before retiring, Jeanne was employed as a hairdresser at the former Newton’s Salon in Lowell for many years.
 She was a longtime parishioner of St. Rita Parish in Lowell.
 Among her many interests, Jeanne loved cooking and baking. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, solving word search puzzles and watching old movies and game shows. Her greatest joy however, was the quality time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 Jeanne is survived by three daughters Carol Ann Schreiber of Lowell, MA, Jean D. Kent and her husband David of Lexington, MA and Davina A. Raftery and her husband Brian of Nashua, NH; three sons Richard D. “Moe” Morris of Lowell, MA, Bruce A. Morris of Tarpon Springs, FL and Wayne F. Morris and his companion Danielle Buteau of Dracut, MA; nine grandchildren Kimberly Pilato and her husband Michael of Dracut, MA, Danielle Raftery of Manchester, NH, Michaela Raftery of Nashua, NH, Mark Lynch and his wife Adrian of Lawrence, MA, Courtney Budin and her husband Michael of Land O’Lakes, FL, Richard Kent and his wife Joann of Auburn, MA, Robert Kent of Lexington, MA, Kathleen Venice and her husband Bradley of Spofford, NH and Brian Morris of California; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
 She was also mother of the late Robert H. Morris who died September 2, 1996 and sister of the late Davina Laing, Isabel Croteau, Theresa Chenelle and Harold Connell.
 Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday morning at the Parish of St. Rita, 158 Mammoth Road in Lowell at 10 o’clock followed by burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
