Eva R. (Gosselin) (Anton) Godbout



Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother sister and friend.

Eva R. (Gosselin) (Anton) Godbout, 89, passed away peacefully Wednesday November 13, 2019 at Wingate at Belvidere surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, June 30, 1930, the daughter of the late Hormidos and the late Laudia (Pomarleau) Gosselin, she attended Chelmsford schools and was a graduate of the Lowell Trade School (aka Greater Lowell Technical High School).

Prior to her retirement, Eva was an electrical assembler for Wang Laboratories.

Eva is survived by three sons Joseph T. Anton and his wife Pauline of Nashua, NH, Robert F. Anton of Dracut and Michael C. Anton and his wife Andrea of Dracut; three granddaughters Laurie Haas of  Hinsdale, NH, Lisa Poitras and her husband Michael of Dracut and Cassera Anton of Dracut; a grandson Adam Anton of Lowell; seven great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; a sister Shirley Shea of Lowell; and many loving  nieces and nephews.

She was the wife of the late Carroll P. Anton, the mother of the late Daniel and David Anton and sister of the late William Gosselin, Edward Gosselin and Dorothy McQuarrie.

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt
Mary Ann J. (Madore) Makarewicz, 85, of Lowell, died Monday, November 18th 2019 at D’Youville Senior Care with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 64 years of the late Michael J. Makarewicz who predeceased her in August 2018.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, February 23, 1934, a daughter of the late Antoine and the late Angeline (Gagnon) Madore, she attended Lowell schools.
Among her many interests, she enjoyed gardening, singing, dancing, making new friends, and spending time with family.
Mary Ann is survived by her two daughters Ann Marie E. Champagne of Salem, NH and Erika Connor of Lowell, MA; two sons Mark A. Makarewicz of Lowell, and Steven R. Makarewicz and his wife Carma of Tyngsborough; six grandchildren Rhianna, Derek and Craig Cohen and Tania, Nyles and Hannah Connor; two great-grandchildren Cameron Ross and Albert Cohen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also mother of the late Michael F. Makarewicz and sister of the late Juliette (Madore) Houde, Joan (Madore) McCann, Theresa (Madore) Dufresne, Doris (Madore) Fontes, William, Anthony, and Albert.
Friends may call the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 2 to 5 P.M. Sunday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be held Monday morning at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH in Lowell at 10 A.M. Burial in the Holy Trinity Polish Cemetery. Harry John Dumond, III

Beloved father, son, brother and friend;

Harry John Dumond, III, 27, of Lowell, Massachusetts but formerly of Oakdale, CT passed away Wednesday November 13, 2019.

Born in Norwich, Connecticut, April 27, 1992, a son of Harry J. Dumond, Jr. of North Chesterfield, Virginia and Lori A. (Fife) (Fernald) Forbes of Oakdale, CT, he received his education in the Ledyard, CT school system.

Most recently, he was working for JMS Tree Service. Formerly he worked for Dumond and Son Masonry in Ledyard, CT.  

Harry was known to be fearless, but with his bright smile and big hugs, he made everyone's day a better one.

He was a father, a brother, a son, but most importantly he was loved. His addiction was no secret; the people who knew him and loved him, knew he fought.

At this time, we would like to remember all the good times we had with him and know he is here with us every day. His legacy will live on forever through his son Mason and daughter Autumn. This is not goodbye; it's "See you later, Buddy."

In addition to his parents and children, Harry is survived by three sisters Robin D. Dumond of Norwich, CT., Rachel L. Dumond of New London, CT and Jasmine Dumond of Niantic, CT; his step-father Jay Forbes of Oakdale, CT. and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Long Pond Rd. in Groton, CT 06340 on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. All are welcome. Committal Services will take place at a later date. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.

Retired Hanscom Air Force Base

Theodore S. Rigopoulos, 92, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side.

He was the beloved husband for over 67 years of Olympia (Zapsalis) Rigopoulos, who survives him.

Theodore attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1945 where he also served as Co-Captain of the Varsity Basketball Team.  Theodore was voted best athlete, Lowell High School, 1944-1945 and also received The Lifetime Athletic Sportsmanship – Award of Excellence from the Lowell Hellenic Institute.

A Veteran of the Korean War, Theodore proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and Navy.

Prior to his retirement, he was the Chief of Logistics at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford for over 30 years.

A was a member of the Masons, Kilwinning Lodge, Theodore had several interests but was most happy when he was with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters Karen Rigopoulos of Chelmsford and Pamela Rihani and her partner Bob Mancini of East Greenwich, RI; and several nieces and nephews.
