Edward Kobisky, Sr.

 
 
Loving father, grandfather and great grandfather;
 
 Edward Kobisky, Sr., 94, of Nashua, NH, died Tuesday, April 5th at Community Hospice House in Merrimack. He was the beloved husband of the late Betti (Scanlon) Kobisky, who died September 22, 1993.
 Born in Boston, MA on March 7, 1922, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Antonina (Kzyzanowska) Kobisky and grew up in Billerica, MA.  He attended Billerica schools and was a graduate of Lowell Trade School.
 Previously, Ed resided in Windham, NH, Largo, FL, Ft White, FL and Spring Hill, FL.
 A veteran of WW II (1942-1946), Ed proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre.  He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 10094 of Indian Rocks, FL.
 Before retiring, Ed had been employed in the construction field as a Project Superintendent working in New Hampshire and Florida.
 Among his many activities, Ed enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, NASCAR, wrestling and old Western movies.
      Ed is survived by three sons and a daughter David Kobisky, Sr. and his wife Michele of Nashua, NH, Edward Kobisky, Jr. and his wife Wendy of Manchester, NH, Harold Kobisky of Nashua, NH and Maureen Franklin of Nashua, NH; his grandchildren David, Jr., Erik and his wife Erinn all of Nashua, NH, Daniel and Jon of Manchester, NH and Kristina Vachon of Nashua, NH;  two great-grandchildren Whitney and Emmerson of Nashua, NH; a brother in law Tom Scanlon of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
       He was also predeceased by two sisters Helen (Kobisky) Sharkey of Chelmsford and Mary (Kobisky) Droll of Lowell.
       All Funeral Services were held privately and burial took place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell, MA. E-condolences at

William C. “Bill” Lambroukos

Respected computer engineer “expert”

William C. “Bill” Lambroukos, 45, of Hudson, NH, but formerly of Lowell, died Thursday April 14, 2015 unexpectedly at his home.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, May 19, 1970, the beloved son of Alexander and Penelope (Carson) Lambroukos, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1989.

A self-taught and well known computer engineer who also wrote code, Bill (or “Lamby” to his computer co-workers), was currently working for the Broad Institute, a division of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in Boston.
 
Previously, he began his career at F.T.P. Software in Andover a well-known innovator in the industry. Later he worked at Navisite in Andover and Paymentech in Salem, NH.

In addition, Bill was a graduate of the Lowell Police Academy and formerly served as a Deputy Chief of the Haverhill Auxiliary Police Department. He was also a Master Electrician.

Among his many interests, Bill loved the outdoors, the mountains, many parts of Northern New England and was an avid ham radio operator.

Besides his parents, Alec and Penny of Tewksbury, Bill is survived by his sister Amy E. Lambroukos-Silva and her husband Chris of Boston; a brother Kurt A. Lambroukos of Methuen; two nieces, Olyvia and Isabella Lambroukos and a nephew Preston Silva; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was also the beloved fiancée of Kathleen Dumais of Hudson, NH.

retired Lowell school teacher;

S. Kathleen “Kay” (O’Malley) Hines, 96, of Westford, died unexpectedly on April 13 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, N.H. She was the beloved wife of the late David K. Hines, Sr. of Lowell who died March 10, 2003.

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, August 31, 1919, she was the only daughter of the late Dr. Joseph and the late Sadie (McDonnell) O’Malley and moved to Lowell as a young girl. She attended Lowell Public Schools and graduated from Lowell High in 1937. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Music from Lowell Teacher’s College (now UMass Lowell) in 1941. 

Before retiring, Kay was employed as a school teacher with the City of Lowell. She taught a wide variety of students, from third grade to Army soldiers (in WWII). She was also a principal in the Billerica School System. She dedicated most of her career to the Lowell school system, teaching at the Coburn and Varnum schools. Upon her retirement in 1990, she received honors from the city and the state. She was a long-standing member of the United Teachers Association of Lowell.   

When not teaching, Kay loved to sing, dance, play bingo, cheer for her grandsons at their sports events, and play with her daughter Dale's dog, Daisy. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Michael's Church in Lowell where she sang with their choir. She also loved the beach where she spent countless happy hours with her family and wonderful friends.   

Kay was the loving mother of David K. Hines, Jr. of Billerica, and Dale Kathleen Hines of Westford. She was the loving grandmother of Kevin, Sean, and Daniel Hines, all of Billerica. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Harold Hines and his wife Doris Hines of Nashua, N.H., and their four children Louise Hines-Ike, James Hines, Connie McCarthy and Daniel Hines. In addition, she is survived by Dale's boyfriend, Daniel Knowles, of Reading.   

Kay dedicated her life to her family, her deep faith in God and teaching. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Tuesday morning at ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA CHURCH in Westford at 9 o’clock. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
 
 Patricia Ann (Davis) Roberts, 72, of Lowell, died Saturday, April 9th at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Arthur R. Roberts who survives her and with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on June 30 2015.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Edward F. Davis, Sr. and the late Esther G. (McShea) Davis, she attended St. Patrick Grammar School and was a graduate of St. Patrick Girl’s High School.
 Among her many interests, Pat enjoyed vacationing and traveling to Atlantic City and especially loved Walt Disney World in Florida. She was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
 Above all else though, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by two daughters Maureen Barry 
and Pamela Sawtelle and her husband Edward all of Lowell, MA; a son George A. Roberts and his wife Renee of Dracut, MA; fifteen grandchildren Richard Barry and his companion Satha Thach, Jonathan Barry and his wife Nicole, Sarah Langathianos, Meghan Langathianos, Nicole Langathianos and her companion Paul Alicia, Stephanie Langathianos, Michael Bahou, Jr., Jason Bahou and his wife Chrystyana, Timothy Bahou and his companion Valerie Michaud, Victoria Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Edward Sawtelle, Jr., Christina Dorval, Keith Sawtelle and Michelle Olena; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister Esther Lopez of Newton, MA and several nieces and nephews.
 She was also sister of the late Edward Davis, Jr., Mary DiRocco, John “Jackie” Davis and Elizabeth “Betty” Davis.
