Harry John Dumond, III

Beloved father, son, brother and friend;

Harry John Dumond, III, 27, of Lowell, Massachusetts but formerly of Oakdale, CT passed away Wednesday November 13, 2019.

Born in Norwich, Connecticut, April 27, 1992, a son of Harry J. Dumond, Jr. of North Chesterfield, Virginia and Lori A. (Fife) (Fernald) Forbes of Oakdale, CT, he received his education in the Ledyard, CT school system.

Most recently, he was working for JMS Tree Service. Formerly he worked for Dumond and Son Masonry in Ledyard, CT.  

Harry was known to be fearless, but with his bright smile and big hugs, he made everyone's day a better one.

He was a father, a brother, a son, but most importantly he was loved. His addiction was no secret; the people who knew him and loved him, knew he fought.

At this time, we would like to remember all the good times we had with him and know he is here with us every day. His legacy will live on forever through his son Mason and daughter Autumn. This is not goodbye; it's "See you later, Buddy."

In addition to his parents and children, Harry is survived by three sisters Robin D. Dumond of Norwich, CT., Rachel L. Dumond of New London, CT and Jasmine Dumond of Niantic, CT; his step-father Jay Forbes of Oakdale, CT. and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Long Pond Rd. in Groton, CT 06340 on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. All are welcome. Committal Services will take place at a later date. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.

Retired Hanscom Air Force Base

Theodore S. Rigopoulos, 92, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side.

He was the beloved husband for over 67 years of Olympia (Zapsalis) Rigopoulos, who survives him.

Theodore attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1945 where he also served as Co-Captain of the Varsity Basketball Team.  Theodore was voted best athlete, Lowell High School, 1944-1945 and also received The Lifetime Athletic Sportsmanship – Award of Excellence from the Lowell Hellenic Institute.

A Veteran of the Korean War, Theodore proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and Navy.

Prior to his retirement, he was the Chief of Logistics at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford for over 30 years.

A was a member of the Masons, Kilwinning Lodge, Theodore had several interests but was most happy when he was with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters Karen Rigopoulos of Chelmsford and Pamela Rihani and her partner Bob Mancini of East Greenwich, RI; and several nieces and nephews.

Brian J. Dillon

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend;

Brian J. Dillon, 73, of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Monday October 14, 2019 at Lowell General Hospital with his family by his side.

He was the loving husband for over 53 years of Sharon (Thamer) Dillon, who survives him.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts. December 5, 1945, a son of the late Harold B. and the late Elizabeth T. (Flanagan) Dillon, he received his education in the Lowell school system.

A member of the Painters Union in Boston, Brian was a painter for most of his life in the Greater Lowell area.

Besides his wife, Brian is survived by his two daughters Kimberly Ahearn and her husband Brian Ahearn of Nashua, NH and Linda M. Dillon and her partner Edward McEachern of Chelmsford; and a granddaughter Amanda R. Dillon with whom he joyfully watched many Bruins games; two brothers; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved grand-dog, Buddy.

Malis “Ricky” Sok


Loving father, son. Brother and friend;
Malis “Ricky” Sok, 45, of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia, January 1, 1974, a son of Khom Sok and Lorm Yang, he attended Great Lowell Vocational High School.
Ricky spent most of his life as a landscaper in the Greater Lowell area.
Besides his parents, he is survived by six children Simonne Sok, Akira Sok, Raley Sok, Melanie Sok, Kiara Nuth and Rickdalena Nuth all of Lowell; six siblings Khim Sok, Kenny Sok, Khan Sok, Khinly Coutu and her husband Bob, Lin Sok and Lee Sok all of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Glory Buddhist Temple in Lowell Sunday afternoon October 20, 2019 after 3:00 P.M. His Funeral Procession will leave the Temple Monday morning at 8:30 A.M. for the Linwood Crematory in Haverhill, MA. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
