Earline A. Leonard

 
Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt
 
 Earline A. (Asselin) Leonard, 64, of Lowell, died Sunday, October 8th at the Atrium at Drum Hill in North Chelmsford. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to the late Arthur J. Leonard who died August 8, 2014.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, December 29, a daughter of the late Chester A. and the late Aline (Paquin) Asselin, she attended Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School with the Class of 1971.
 Before retiring, Earline was employed as a Teacher’s Aide with the City of Lowell for over 15 years.
 Among her many interests, she enjoyed music, puzzle solving, sewing and poetry, actually publishing two poetry books. Above all else though, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
 Earline is survived by a daughter Tina G. Leonard of Lowell, MA; two sons Steven R. Leonard and his wife Martha of Dracut, MA and Jason P. Leonard and his wife Melissa of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren U.S. Marine PFC Elyse Maranda currently stationed at Fort Belvoir, VA, Kyle Maranda of Lowell, MA, Alicia Leonard of Dracut, MA and William, Andrew and Matthew Leonard all of San Antonio, TX; a great-grandson Shane Arthur Leonard of Dracut, MA; two sisters Karen Burk and her husband Alan of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and Paula Asselin of Fort Worth, TX; her companion John; her sisters-in law and brothers-in-law Nancy Causey and her husband Ronald of Shreveport, LA, Donald Leonard and his wife Marie of Dracut, MA, David Leonard and his wife Patricia of Londonderry, NH and Cheryl Leonard of Kenosha, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
 Relatives and friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 9:30 to 10:30 on Friday morning followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at ST. Peifen Wang

Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt
Peifen Wang, 98, of North Chelmsford, died peacefully on Saturday, September 16th at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Junwei Dong.
Born in Tianjin, China, March 10, 1919, a daughter of the late Giping Wang and the late Wenyan Xu, she attended Tianjin schools and was a graduate of Tianjin High School. She then went on to graduate from Chinquin College in China.
Before retiring, Peifen was employed as an OB-GYN Assistant.
Peifen is survived by three sons Siping Dong of Malden, MA, Sihe Dong of Malden, MA and Sizhong Dong of North Chelmsford, MA; two stepdaughters Chunling Dong of China and Chunyuan Dong of China; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Peiquan Wang, Peijin Wang, Peihong Wang and Peihe Wang.

Thalia J. Bentas

 
 Thalia J. Bentas, 93, of Lowell, died Monday, September 18th at the Palm Center in Chelmsford with her loving family by her side.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, November 11, 1923, a daughter of the late John E. and the late Vaitsa (Laios) Bentas, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1942.
 Before retiring, Thalia was employed as a real estate broker in the Greater Lowell Area. Previously, she worked for the Red Cross and the United Shoe Workers of America Union in Boston.
 Thalia was a lifelong member of the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell where she was a member of the Daughters of Penelope and the Philoptochos Society.
 Among her many interests, she loved to travel, especially to Greece and Russia and was an avid reader.
  Thalia is survived by a brother Atty. Efthemios J. “Tim” Bentas and his wife Lily H. of Boston, MA; and several cousins in Greece.
 She was also sister of the late Kleonike J. “Claire” Bentas who died in 2016 and the late Dr. Christos J. Bentas who died in 2003.
 Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday morning at the HELLENIC ORTHODOX CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY at 11 o’clock. Burial to follow in Westlawn Cemetery. Ann M. King

Former administrative assistant for the Bob and Ray Radio Show on NBC in NYC;

Ann M. (Goulding) King, 86, of Milford, NH but formerly of Nashua, NH and Lowell, MA, died Friday morning September 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua.

She was the beloved wife of the late William L. King who died in 1998.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, May 27, 1931, a daughter of the late Thomas Goulding and the late Mae (Philbin) Goulding, she attended the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro and graduated from Lowell High School in 1949

Ann attended Dramatic School in New York City before taking a job at NBC where she began working on the Bob and Ray radio show starring Lowell’s own Ray Goulding.

After returning to New England, she worked at NEBS (New England Business Service) in Groton for many years.

Along with her late husband Bill, she raised her children and enjoyed her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by a daughter Karen A. Byrne and her husband Laurence of Hudson, NH and a son Kevin W. King and his wife Diane of Rindge, NH; four granddaughters Andrea Blanchard of Milford, NH, Briana King of Bradenton, FL, Brittany King of Rindge, NH and Kelsey Fillmore of Hudson, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday morning followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at ST.
