Alba L. Rojas

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend;

Alba L. (Florez) Rojas, 88, of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday August 17, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Carlos E. Rojas who died June 9, 2008.

Born in Medellin, Colombia, March 10, 1933, the daughter of the late Salvador and the late Aurora (Jurado) Florez, she received her education in Colombia.

Prior to her retirement, Alba was a medical instrument inspector for USCI, a division of C. R. Bard, Inc for many years.

A devoted communicant of St. Patrick Church in Lowell, she was also a member of St. Patricks Church Choir.

In addition to her love of singing and her family, Alba also enjoyed gardening and flowers.

She is survived by her daughter Beatriz E. Sierra and her husband Alejandro of Lowell; her son John R. Rojas and his wife Bonnie of Lowell; three grandchildren Daniela Sierra of Lowell, Julian D. Rojas and Erik J. Rojas both of California; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday morning August 20, 2021 at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in LOWELL at 11 oclock.
