Beloved mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother
Audrey M. (Silver) (Tartachny) (McDowell) Lilly, 96, of Dracut, Massachusetts and formerly of Vermont, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
Born in Somerville, MA, August 25, 1929, the daughter of the late George and the late Gladys (Allison) Silver, she attended schools in Massachusetts.
Audrey worked most of her life in the food industry. Prior to retirement, she worked at Nashua Corporation in Nashua, NH.
A beautiful singer and talented piano player, music was her passion, as was the color purple.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy M. (McDowell) Masterson and her partner Tim Sheehy; a son, Paul Tartachny and his wife Martha; six grandchildren, Ashley Nicolosi and her husband Nate, John Masterson, Joshua Masterson and his wife Heather, Robert McDowell and his wife Kathleen, Shane McDowell and his wife Renee, and Lucas McDowell and his wife Whitney; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two step daughters, Patty Lilly and Colleen Lilly.
She was the wife of the late Wayne Lilly, and mother of the late Robert McDowell.
Audrey’s friends in Vermont are invited to her Graveside Committal Service at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at West Lebanon Cemetery, Pleasant St., West Lebanon, NH 03784. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Crossroads Church, 43 Atwood Road, Pelham, NH 03076.
