Constance Eade Obituary

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother;

Constance Ann “Connie” (McEachern) (LaFoille) Eade, 88, of Dracut, Massachusetts, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her home in Dracut.

She was born on April 5, 1936, in Madison, Wisconsin, to the late William S. and the late Rena A. (Gauthier) McEachern and was raised in Cooks, Upper Peninsula, Michigan.

Connie was raised on a farm, milking cows at four years old, working with the cows and fields of potatoes, and occasionally taking the neighbor’s horse, Fannie, for long runs and did it bareback. She attended Cooks high School and was the queen of her prom, which was no surprise.

She married Dolor LaFoille and was an air force wife for 16 years. After Dolor passed, Connie married John Sydney.

Connie loved to paint, played beautiful piano, was a Deacon at two churches, which she loved so much, and sang in church choirs. She loved the mountains, water, and rocks, which she painted often.

She worked as a job counselor at WeAchieve, formerly CHI Centers, a nonprofit in Silver Springs, Maryland, for 10 years.

Connie is survived by a daughter, Deanne M. Gallant and her husband Norman of Dracut, MA; two sons, Douglas J. LaFoille and his wife Jean of South Padre, TX, and David J. LaFoille of Traverse City, MI; a daughter-in-law, Donna LaFoille of Myrtle Beach, SC; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late William S. and Rena A. (Gauthier) McEachern, the mother of the late Daniel J. LaFoille, the grandmother of the late Dianna Marie (LaFoille) Jarvais, and the sister of the late Linda and Dale.

Rejoice Mom! You are forever melted in our hearts.
