Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend

D. Michael Caron, 66, a resident of Lowell died unexpectedly Monday, May 19, 2025, at his home.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 7, 1959, the son of the late John J. and A. Patricia (O’Hare) Caron, he received his education in the Lowell Public Schools, graduated from Lowell High Class of 1976 and attended the University of Lowell.

Michael loved spending time with his family, attending all holiday get-togethers, birthdays and parties. He loved his scratch tickets, always hoping for the big win!

A devoted Boston sports fan, watching the Celtics, Bruins, Pats and Red Sox games with his favorite cousin and friend, Katie Frechette.

He spent much of his career working at McKittrick Industrial Supply in Lowell.

He is survived by his two sons, Joshua Lach of Huntersville, North Carolina and Joseph Lach and his wife Vanessa of Boston; three grandchildren, Levi and Luna Lach and his newest grandson Jack Michael Lach.

He also leaves his brother John Caron of Lowell, sister Ann Marie and her husband Kevin Murphy of Lowell and sister Patty and her husband Barry Myers of Gilford, NH. He will be missed by his two cousins, Mary Jo Giroux and Katie Frechette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
