Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle;

Douglas Michael Raymond, 71, of Livermore, California, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 19, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a fierce battle with Multiple Myeloma.

He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Christine Mary (Gendron) Raymond aka the beautiful Tina, of Livermore, CA, who survives him.

Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, October 6, 1951, son of the late Douglas F. and the late Mary A. (Payne) Raymond, he attended Masconomet High School in Topsfield, Massachusetts. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Franklin Pierce College.

Douglas started his engineering career at Varian Associates, later, joining Raytheon as a Microwave Engineer. He then spent 20 years at HP, starting as a sales representative and advancing to become the Global Director of TPA. He later joined an engineering consulting firm as EVP before his founding a number of Silicon Valley startups. Later in his career, he was CEO and Founder of Solarlytics and CTO and Founder of Cardio Thrive.

Among his many interests, Douglas enjoyed spending time outdoors, boating, skiing, and scuba diving. A consumate engineer and maker, he also loved inventing, designing, building, fabricating and fixing all manner of things. However his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his beloved wife, Douglas is survived by a daughter: Christen Raymond Dubois of Redwood City, CA; a son Michael Douglas Raymond and his wife Laurie of Torrance, CA; two grandchildren Lily and Teddy Raymond of Torrance, CA; a sister Deborah McGrath and her husband Jack of Bedford, MA, he is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Friends may call at the ODONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Friday, August 4, 2023, at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, in LOWELL, MA, at 11:00 A.M.
